Playio’s unique action-based reward system helps game companies to acquire new game users

1. Product Information

Playio’s CPI product operates on a per-game-install billing model, meaning it incurs charges for each game installation.
While there is a charge per installation, users receive benefits based on playtime. This approach can positively impact user retention and purchase conversion rates.

2. Various Event Operations

Playio’s CPI product offers various events to achieve your advertisement goals.
Unique events like the ‘Play Quest’ event, which can only be experienced on Playio, encourage voluntary user participation and maximize marketing effectiveness.

2-1. Time Quest

Time Quests are playtime-based events that can only be experienced in Playio.
Time Quests is a quest where rewards are granted for playing the game within the advertising period, making it effective for user retention and conversion.
As it encourages daily play, it helps secure long-term loyal players even after the advertising ends.

2-2. Hidden Quest

Hidden Quests encourages user actions, including sign-ups, in-app purchases, and ad views, up to any in-game event needed for optimization.
Hidden Quests’ events can be configured with content suitable for achieving your advertising goals.
*Now using non-unique postback events, certain quests can repeatedly show depending on campaign settings
This feature is only available if we can receive postback events from your MMP

2-3. Community Event

We recommend this event if you are not using an MMP. Creatives will need to be made in order to operate this event.
Community Events encourages user actions, including sign-ups, in-app purchases, and ad views, up to any in-game events. This can also be used as a launch or update celebration event.

3. Advertising Unit Price and Targeting

The price excludes VAT, but includes agency fees in the case of agency transactions. Playio covers the agency transaction fees.

3-1. Standard Unit Price

This is the basic unit price based on a broad target. Additional surcharges are applied when applying targets.

5. Note

The minimum campaign execution amount is $5,000 for a 2-week period (excluding VAT).
For CPI campaigns, the daily cap is a minimum of 300 installs, and the weekly cap is a minimum of 2,000 installs
‘Hidden Quest’ are only operable with MMP integrated postback events
‘Community Events’ can be operated as long as creatives are made for the event. Please refer to the Playio Creatives Guide document for production guidelines and reference.
